Brandon and I experienced many new things yesterday. First, we went to our first Nashville Sounds game. The Nashville Sounds are the minor league team that feeds into the Brewers. Their stadium is close to campus and there was a promotion for buy 1, get 1 tickets, so it seemed like a great night to go. Nicole and Chris, another Residence Director at Belmont, accompanied us to the game. Despite the Sounds losing (by a lot...) we had a great time! Brandon and Chris were asked to participate in a promotion during the game (for a good laugh, check out the video). We also ate stadium food: hot dogs, nachos, and dippin' dots!

After the game, Chris drove us to nearby celebrity houses. We now know where John Rich (of Big & Rich), Taylor Swift, Dierks Bentley, Martina McBride, and the Tennessee Governor live. Some of these houses were ridiculously huge. John Rich's house has privacy gates with the words "Mount Richmore" written across them. His house is probably five stories tall with an elevator, a pool on the roof, and stocked mini-fridges in each bathroom. Google it - it's crazy! Unfortunately, it was dark during our tour so we didn't get to see too many details, but we have big plans to return to see the houses in the daylight. If you visit, we'll be sure to take you by these sites - it's fun to say you've been to a celebrity's house, even if it's just the sidewalk outside of it :)
