The Matias' Love Belmont!

It was a great day when Belmont offered me the Residence Director position. It was another great day when Brandon was offered a position in the Events Center at Belmont. Late last week, Brandon accepted the job, which means that we're now both employees at Belmont. We're very happy for many reasons. First, Brandon found a job in Nashville (which is great news because my school loans payments will start soon and the extra income will help with that). Second, Brandon literally has to wake up, get ready, then walk across a small grassy lawn to get to work. This is a huge blessing for him, given that for the last two years, his commute to work was 1.5 hours each way. Third, the position is 30 hours a week, which allows him at least 10 hours to continue searching for opportunities in the music industry. He hasn't started work yet, but he should once HR works out the details. We're excited to announce that we're HUGE Belmont lovers - now we need to shop at the university store for some Belmont gear to reflect our new love for the institution!
